Work
Currently I am working as a Systems Administrator of Center for the Study of Learning of Georgetown University in Washington, DC, USA. There is a short description about Center below, please, check CSL website to get more information about it. If you want to know what role I play in CSL, please, refer to my Resume.
Center for the Study of Learning at Georgetown University Medical Center consists of faculty, research assistants, post-doctoral fellows, and graduate students with expertise in the study of learning disorders. We use psycho-educational testing to assess cognitive skills and fMRI technology to capture brain function of reading related tasks. By combining fMRI data and psycho-educational test results from our research participants, we can examine brain-behavioral relationships and how they change as learning skills improve. We study children and adults with a range of developmental disorders, including developmental dyslexia, autism, and attention-deficit disorder. Understanding more about how typical learning occurs will be essential to understanding the problems encountered by individuals who have learning difficulties. Our goal is to conduct research that will shed light on the causes and effects of learning disorders, so that better programs for diagnosis and treatment can be developed.
